DESCRIPTION: THIS NEW FIRE STATION WILL REPLACE THE CURRENT SHREVEPORT FIRE STATION #17 LOCATED AT 2890 N. SOUTHLAND PARK DRIVE, ALMOST 3/4THS OF A MILE AWAY. THIS NEW FACILITY WILL BE A MODERN FIRE STATION WITH UP-TO-DATE AMENITIES. THERE IS NO WORD ON THE OUTCOME OF THE CURRENT STATION AFTER IT IS SHUT DOWN.
