BOSSIER CITY, LA - Funeral services for Balentine Ambulance Service owner Ralph D. Balentine were held on Saturday, April 13, 2019 at Airline Baptist Church and Rose Neath Funeral Home on Airline Drive at 1:00pm. During the ceremony the chapel held family, friends and colleagues. Members from Balentine Ambulance Service, Bossier City Fire Department, Bossier Parish EMS, Pafford EMS, Desoto Parish EMS, Shreveport Fire Department, Red River Parish EMS, Med Life Ambulance, Med Express Ambulance Service, Caddo Parish Fire District #1, Acadian Ambulance, Advanced EMS, Jackson Parish Ambulance Service, East Baton Rouge Parish EMS, Bossier City Police Department, Bossier Parish Sheriff's Office and other agencies could be seen in attendance. Due to hazardous weather conditions the graveside service/burial was cancelled. A procession to to bring Mr. Balentine to Rose Neath Funeral Home was performed instead.
