SHREVEPORT, LA - Just after 8:50am Caddo Parish Fire District Number Four along with automatic aid from Caddo Fire District #3 and Caddo Parish Fire District #6 responded to the 3400 block of Hickory Ridge Road for a reported house on fire. While enroute crews could see heavy smoke - confirming a work fire. First in pump arrived on scene to find heavy smoke and flames on the "B" side and roof of the home. Crews were able to lay a 5" supply line to establish a water source. Firefighters were able to knock down the flames before it reached the other side of the home. No civilian or firefighter injuries were reported. The cause of the fire has not yet been determined. Signal 51 responded and served drinks.

B-Shift is back in service following a residential structure fire in the 3400 block of Hickory Ridge Road. Engines 411 and 421 responded along with Car 400, Medic 420 and POV Unit 421. Automatic Aid was given by Tankers 313 and 613 from Caddo Fire Districts 3 and 6. Signal 51 Group responded to the scene and served cold drinks to the crews. No injuries to fire department personnel or civilians were reported and for that we are always grateful.
