SHREVEPORT, LA - Just after 1:00pm today Caddo Fire District #3 along with automatic aid from Caddo Parish Fire District Number Four responded to the 4300 block of Eaglewood Avenue for a reported house fire that was also catching a neighbors garage on fire. Engine 312 arrived on scene to find two detached garages on fire with a house being exposed. Firefighters were able to knock down the flames on both garages and save the home. The original detached garage is a total loss while the other was spared. No injuries were reported and the fire is believed to have been started by an unattended outside fire.
